REM Association Services was formed in 1996 as an association management and consulting firm. Clients include nonprofit trade associations and professional societies. Robert E. McLeanREM's president is Bob McLean [ click here for his bio ]. He will become chairman of ASAE's AMC Section Council in 2008 and was the founding chair of the AMC Institute's Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Task Force (of which he remains a member). He is a past member of ASAE's Small Staff Advisory Committee.

In addition to managing all membership work, he coordinates event planning for several clients. He has 10 years experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a food and beverage manager at several DC-area hotels. He graduated with a BS from the University of Delaware’s Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management in the College of Human Resources. Jeen-Marie BelsonJeen-Marie Belson manages our financial accounting work. She has more than 10 years accounting and customer service experience, working with both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Her role provides a valuable benefit in finance and resource management for our clients. |

ClientsREM's clients include national and international associations and societies. Their size ranges from small groups with fewer than 30 corporate members to larger trade associations with individual members numbering nearly 600. The business sectors served include the mailing industry, language service companies, coal traders, photoluminescent product manufacturers, EAP providers, and insurance agents. REM also works with other associations, corporations, and unions on membership recruitment, communications, and strategic planning projects. REM's training programs reach as many as 8,000 individuals annually, primarily in the area of building grassroots lobbying networks.
